Description

For this month's installment of 709Sessions, I've decided to use the live recording of my set from the Shadow FX show in Calgary on April 5th. Opening the event playing a slot from 10pm-midnight, this set was definitely one of my darker and more intense mixes I've put together; a pretty driving onslaught of progressive and progressive psytrance that includes a bunch of new tracks and ends of with a favorite I've been beating up on over the past few months.

Recorded live, it's about as raw as it gets with one or two semi-rough spots, but overall it came through pretty tight and more importantly captured the atmosphere of the night and how I was playing to it.

This is one rocking mix my friend. Perhaps my favorite of yours so far! I really wish I could have been there for what I'm sure was a completely magical night, your set would have had me grooving my ass off. It seems everyone is horny for that 6 Feet Under track lately, is just so sick! This mix is going to get a real burner in my house for the next little while.
