Description

Living Well is a 90-minute mix that I made as a guestmix for Rob Curtis' podcast.  Lots of neat stuff on here...  the opening track is one a good friend from Vancouver has been hammering for months that I've fallen in love with; the sixth track is an edit I did of one of Brisker & Maginman's newer tunes laid up against an old, old remix of Moby's "Next is the E" that I've been playing since Deadly Hedley Jones first played it late one Friday night at CFNY's old studios in Brampton in '92.  Track 9 is two tunes that my girlfriend Leanne (who has perfect pitch and a startlingly good memory for tunes) asked me to put together when she first heard Itajai Vibes...  and the last track is a rework of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata", one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written.

And the name?  There's at least three levels for me in picking the title of this one, not the least of which is one of my favourite places to catch a decent beverage in Toronto - the Living Well Cafe at 692 Yonge St.

Enjoy. :)
