Description

Overland was mixed to coincide with the one year anniversary of Pure.Prog in June, an Area709-branded monthly night at the Amsterdam Rhino here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Disc Two of Overland, entitled Civil, is a rather eclectic mix, a 71 minute show-and-tell that starts off with some of my favouite early evening tracks before sliding through some tunes by a few of who I anticipate tomorrow's big names in underground dance music to be.  It's mixed partially on vinyl and partially digitally, and is wonderful with headphones.  As with the first disc, there's a bit of editing and tweaking to be heard in there, too.
