Theme: Reconnecting with Earth

In honour of Earth Day, this month’s Journeys will explore our deep connection with Mother Earth.

The process we will follow comes from The Four Paths of Earth Revival. It will lead one to explore our personal relationship with Earth through the transformative process of Creation Spirituality. In Via Positiva we celebrate our Creation Story. In Via Negativa we join in the expression of grief with all our beloved creatures facing extinction. By embracing both the light and the dark we emerge into Via-Creativa, and our co-creative relationship with the Divine. We recognize Spirit within each of us and our role in the impulse of Life to evolve and grow. We emerge in Transformativa and the dance of the Shambala warrior, empowered to answer Earth’s call to action.

This Journey will be facilitated by eco-spiritual teacher and leader Maureen LaCroix, who is a founding member of Earth Revival Society in Vancouver. She has a Masters in Creation Spirituality and Eco-Psychology, co-produced the Cosmic Mass with Matthew Fox in 2005, and is collaborating with others to bring a Green Man Cosmic Mass to Burningman this year. The musical landscape will be provided by DJ Solus and DJ Luna (both of Ektasis Dance).
