Area 709

A very special night of Pure.Prog for two very important reasons. Firstly, this will be the first Saturday edition of Pure.Prog as the entire Redlight Sessions set of crews takes over Saturday nights at the Amsterdam Rhino, along with keeping the usual Friday nights, so hopefully the first of many to come!

Secondly, and most importantly, I'll be bringing in a very special guest, long-time 709 member Rusty Ezard, who will be playing his last Calgary show before moving back to Toronto.

Since moving to Calgary from Toronto originally, Rusty has been an extremely close and loyal friend to a bunch of us at Area709. Personally, I've shared great memories behind the decks with Rusty, from playing epic tag sets at big festivals like Motion Notion and many 709 parties, to just popping open a few (ok, many) beers and sitting down for a friendly jam session. Thanks for being a true friend and I wish you the best in Toronto. You will be sadly missed in this part of the world.

So, join us for a very special evening of pure, uncontained prog madness as Rusty and myself pound it out together for one last time! A night for the ages that's for sure.
