Now nearly two years in, Area709's Pure.Prog nights at the Amsterdam Rhino have long been the stuff of legend for those who like big room progressive house, bone-bending soundsystems, and the sort of always-up-for-it crowd that usually leaves very little to the imagination by the night's end!

This coming May 23rd marks the birthday of Pure.Prog resident Matthew Belleghem - and celebrations are in order in a big, big way! The final, permanent, built-to-a-taste-not-to-a-budget Rhino soundsystem (the finest ever to grace the Rhino's basement) will be fired up for the first time ever on the night, while Matthew and fellow Area709 resident Rob Curtis take turns spinning their favourite tunes.

Cheap drinks, big beats, sweaty people busting into their summer groove - what more could you want? Rumour has it Matthew may even wheel out his legendary Mr. Peanut hat. You've been warned.
