No, it's not your imagination. It's PHOSPHENE.
No, it's not an illusion. It's PHOSPHENE.
No, you're not hallucinating (well, probably some of you are.) It's PHOSPHENE.
When stimulated by electrical, mechanical or magnetic means, optic nerve cells in the retina and cells further along in the visual cortex work together to create luminous images in your mind's eye. This entoptic phenomenon is known as PHOSPHENE.
When stimulated by electrical, mechanical or magnetic means, DJs, visual artists and friends from all over Soundproof work together to create all night dancing in a hidden location. This entopti-vibey phenomenon is known as PHOSPHENE.
Soundproof is back full speed with PHOSPHENE, a science experiment of all things audible and inaudible, visible and invisible, feelable and unfeelable. The aim is to find the relationship between neurotransmitters, photons and decibels.
Here is the list of the beatsculptors who will be creating PHOSPHENE's audiosphere, sonorealm, or groovescape if you will:

In order to be a part of this experimental psycho-acousti-optical research into the inner workings of human audiovisual perception, test subjects must purchase a $20 ticket from any Soundproof scientist.
The experiment will begin Saturday February 21 at 10pm, and will end nine hours later. The specific geographical location where the research will take place will be announced that day on the project's website,
