After Burn, 2008

I was half-expecting a somewhat uneventful return to waking life after my trip, but it doesn't seem as if that's going to be the case :)
Fellow Soundproof DJ Chris Singer and I have been invited to play at a post-Burning Man event coming up on Saturday, November 15th. The event is being hosted by Burn BC, a Vancouver-based arts and community co-operative that's evolved from Burning Man over the last couple of years. Obviously, I missed the Burn this year because I was busy hanging off a rock somewhere in Spain, but I'm really looking forward to this event and reconnecting with Burning Man community.
It looks like the organizers have assembled an impressive number of artists and performers, and all in an amazing venue. There's a summary of performances and art installations in the description for this event on the area709 site, or you can go here: http://www.burnbc.com/. The event starts at 8:00pm, goes until 6:00am and I am fully expecting and looking forward to all the wonderful chaos that inevitably comes with these events.
