Wow - Where's the summer going?  

First off, massive props to everyone that came out to the Beheshto party back on August 2nd.  I'm still pretty awestruck we managed to pull off the party after the Sea to Sky highway became impassable due to barrier of fallen granite boulders.  The outdoor venue we ended up using last minute was unexpected, but worked perfectly.  The crowd was awesome and it was amazing seeing a ton of friends cutting loose on the dancefloor.  A huge thank you to the Beheshto family for keeping me sane, before, during and after the event :)  

So, next up is the annual outdoor Soundproof party, (Trance_ission) next Saturday, August 23rd.  I'm already astonished by the number of people coming out of the woodwork for this one.  This is a pretty big event for many of us.  It's a tribute for Martin's passing, a final goodbye and bow for many of the crew and a chance to resurrect some memories from days gone by.  But, first and foremost, it's a Soundproof party with the familiar vibe many of you have come to love and adore... so, brace yourself for 14 hours of techno and trance, malfunctioning props and pranks, stunning visuals, random midnight missions, lots of laughs and some sick, sick bass.  Drop me a line if you'd like to grab some tickets, or if you want some more information on the event. 

We're having an impromptu pre-Trancemission party this Saturday at the Anza Club.  Fellow Soundproof DJs Drew David, Miss Innocent and I will be playing from 11:00pm to 2:00pm, there's no cover and likely to be more than a couple familiar faces.
