Summer Has Arrived

bears come out of hibernation to eat berries, and I come out of hibernation to hear killer music played on big systems outdoors. True, I missed winter here in Canada as I was off traveling the world for the last 9 months, but none the less I am still really eager to get out to some outdoor summer gatherings and have a great time with some good friends and enjoy some fantastic music.
I am gathering some stunning tracks for a Sons of Aurora set at 4 am after Chromosome on Saturday night at Motion Notion. It's shaping up to be an intense bit of mind floss so be sure to have your helmets on tight!
Next on the agenda will be a sunset-set on Saturday night 8-10 pm on the Labyrinth stage at Shambhala. This will be a set more of a Zenon focus and from the collection of first-rate unreleased material I have recently recieved from the Australia crew... it's going to be a treat to hear this stuff for the first time on a big system to say the least.
On the mix end of things it looks like I may be pulling together a second Sea of Vapours release by mid 2010, it's still the early stages so we shall see. For Area709 I have a few mixes on the go and will be getting those up in the coming months also.
And finally I am sitting down and getting some time in on writing my own tunes. I have finally taken the plunge and committed to giving it an honest attempt. Already I am excited about the process and although results may be a long way off, I think that being ok with thatis key to even beginning, at least it is for me.
