Tracks Licensed To Upcoming Documentary Film 'Slip Cue'
I'm pleased to announce that four of my productions have been licensed for an upcoming documentary titled Slip Cue. The film will be produced by Tiekara Productions based in my hometown of Chicago.
Slip Cue was created to inspire aspiring DJs and producers to pursue their passion for electronic music and show the avenues they can take in order to transform it into a career. Internationally renowned DJs interviewed in the film include the Freestylers, Krafty Kuts, Junior Vasquez, DJ Sneak, Telefon Tel Aviv, Kate Simko, Kenneth Thomas, and Lady D.
Corporations who have provided their support and approved the use of their brand in the film include: Apple, Beatport, Heineken, Ableton, the Rane Corporation (for the Serato Scratch Live software), Native Instruments, !K7, Supercharged Music & Against the Grain and Cargo Entertainment.
Slip Cue is expected to be completed at the end of summer. More details to follow.
'Cold Water' Release Date Set, Dresden & Johnston Remix Postponed
Cold Water, the collaboration track with UK artist Ad Brown, is expected to arrive in stores May 18, 2010. The official record release party will take place May 21 at Vango Lounge in Philadelphia.
Talented up-and-comers Dezza and Playton have just completed two stunning remixes, which you can preview by visiting my SoundCloud profile.
For those of you hoping to purchase my remix of Dresden & Johnston's first single Keep Faith, the release date has been postponed. The track will be included as part of the third release on D&J's new label Problem Child Rekords.
