Tropical Storms and Remixes

Hey there. It's been a pretty intense couple of weeks for me, between working in the studio for school and my own productions. We also had a little instance with a particular tropical storm (in November, no less) that was particularly interesting. I completely missed the last big storm, but this was right at our front step. Noel created 14 m tidal surges that in some areas, completely decimated the waterfront. Nobody was hurt and we didn't lose power, so we were pretty lucky. However, it was an incredibly exciting experience!
On the production front, I have been busy working on a remix of a track by a local progressive artist, Jamie Leigh. Since this is my first proper remixing gig, I wanted to take the time to ensure that the finished product not only reflected my vision of the piece, but also maintained what I felt were the strongest points of the original track. I'm currently in the final arrangement stages of the track, so look for it in my music section of my profile very soon. Peace!
