Area 709

so as many of you may have noticed, im terrible with writing blogs and i never do.  tonight i feel inspired and so i will give everyone a bit of an update of whats going on.

 i'm full head on into the school year so that has been a #1 focus and takes up most of my time.  Fortunately i have still been spending a lot of time sorting through new tunes and getting in some good listening to lots of music.  I've also very casually been working on writing my own material that I would like at some point to release.  Perhaps when I have something finalized and finished I will upload a track into my music section for your listenin pleasure.

 there has been some talk with a few of us here in calgary about getting some events underway.  in my opinion there is a lack of fun casual dance parties happening in calgary during the upcoming months.  it is likely that we will try to rent out the emmedia space in the near future and throw down a super last minute shindig that will be a good chance for us to shake our booties.  hopefully little events such as these will happen fairly often, even just for a fun hangout to listen to tunes and dance with friends.

if you ever get the chance to have your hair washed in a random side street in chiang mai by a small thai women, you must do it.  after the triple shampoo treatment combined with vigorous head massaging that lasted what seemed like 30 minutes, i believe that this women exorcised all the demons out of my hair.  furthermore, her intensely strong shampoo with a scent that reminded me of my elementary school after a good cleaning, has made my hair possibly the cleanest it's ever been.  i dont think i need to wash my hair for another month at least...
